I ride it in 2 foot slop to overhead and it goes awesome

Hi Todd,
How are you Divine Shape Master? I ordered a poly Rascal II with my friend Mark Hsu (who ordered a Greased Pig) last year from you and had them shipped to Taiwan, and

the boards have been the magic carpet

we’ve been searching for for the last 4 years,

I ride it in 2 foot slop to overhead and it goes awesome.

Now I would like to have something that surfs more like a regular short board but still have the groveler qualities too. My friend Steve Lin also ordered a Greased Pig(EPS) and he and I are about the same build (5′9″, 190 pounds, his EPS Greased Pig is 6′0″x19.5×2.5 with channels and 5-fin option). What dimensions would you make my Greased Pig if I ordered one? I would like to get the Proxy Epoxy version with the round elliptical channels and the five-fin option. I would like to have it shipped to my friend’s place in OC and he will bring it to taiwan for me.

Thanks so much for you input on this, take care and talk to you soon.

I haven’t been this stoked about surfing since I was a kid

Hi Todd and Charissa-
I just wanted to thank you for getting my 2 boards made so quickly, I greatly appreciate it.  I have ridden my greased rascal and my accelarator and I am extremely happy with both of the boards.

The greased rascal is by far

the best small wave board

I have ever ridden.

My accelarator is the best shortboard

I have ever had.

The accelarator gets into the waves very early and easy, generating a lot of speed without even trying.

I haven’t been this stoked

about surfing since I was a kid.

For the first time in my life

I feel like I can do anything I want

on a wave.

I will never again buy a board off a rack at a surf shop.  I will only order custom.  I will keep in touch with you guys when I get more boards.  Do you do Proxy’s on both of these boards?  Thanks again.

The falcon is the “shortboard” that I’ve been trying to find for ages

Hi Todd,
Two days ago when I saw you, I had vector foils on the outside and the small trailer in the back. I was noticing a little bit of lag time getting up to speed and turning was little forced. The first couple days I tried it with the same twin fin (rasta keel) set up that I use on the Rascal 2, but it felt a bit twitchy.
So yesterday I went back to the basics and put in fiberglass AM1 futures.

Wow, now were talkin’!

All the speed of the Rascal 2 is there

but with even more manuveability.

I was able to get into more critical positions and really whip the board around rather than the more gliding turns of the Rascal 2, which is what I wanted.

The falcon is the “shortboard”

that I’ve been trying to find for ages.

Thank you so much!

But don’t worry, the Rascal 2 is not getting kicked to the curb. My board choice always depends on the conditions, and you and I both know the conditions around here are often tailor made for the Rascal 2.
Take Care,

You said this board would take me to the next level. It has already.

Just want to let you know that I love this board after 1st trip out. I used it as a quad. Next time I will surf it as a Thruster.

It is so responsive, it went any place I wanted it to go and quick.

It felt like I was on ice it was so fast on my first wave.

These pics were only from the inside section, the wife didn’t get any bigger wave pics
: (   They were breaking 5 to 8′

You said this board would take me to the next level.

It has already.

I feel now that I CAN. I am so STOKED that you made me such a SICK board. I love it. I love you for it. I will see you soon. I will bring more Tito’s for you two. THANKS my brother! You did it right again.

It has a bit more drive off the bottom and is more responsive in the pocket

The El Pavote I think is a more progressive feeling Falcon.

It has a bit more drive off the bottom

and is more responsive in the pocket.

It seems to do both of these things without giving up all the advantages of the falcon.

It still is great though the flat sections

and a great board for nearly all conditions

but really shines at the points…..
