Hey Todd,

The 6′ 2” Ante-Up went insane in Indo. I couldn’t believe how much speed it would be able to control on such powerful waves.

I recommend this board for any surfer’s quiver whose gonna be travelling to any location with powerful waves.

Thanks again,

the new sticks were great

hey charissa.

the trip was awesome and the new sticks were great.

we had some freak swells roll into the island area and found ourselves among some decent surf for most of the trip.

I miss the island so much already and am planning to
go back within a couple weeks.

if possible can you send some proctor stickers our way?
the bigger the better.

The board is out of this world, and works incredibly well in a variety of conditions.

Todd and Charissa,

Thank you for the superb board buying experience and shaping me a fantastic board! Every step of the process was extremely professional.

The thing works amazing, plus it’s one of the strongest board I have ever owned.

Todd,

Thanks for the update. I’ve been meaning to get back to you regarding the board you shaped me last January, the Groveler IV.

The thing works amazing, plus it’s one of the strongest board I have ever owned.

It’s nice to finally get a board that actually holds up. I’ll probably be coming by the shop next month to talk to you about getting another board.

Thanks again!

My new Blackbird is like butter on a wave, so loose yet smooth!

Hi Todd and Charissa,

My new Blackbird is like butter on a wave, so loose yet smooth!

The rocker on this is magic… My PU performance fish (the one that I wanted replicated as a PROXY) feels slower and stiffer in comparison. Thanks for the recommendation!

You were right: it’s making me want to sell all my other boards and get a quiver of PROXY Blackbirds!

Sincerely, Jorge

This is not just a small wave board; it’s an all around awesome board for…

Holy Shakas Todd! The Rascal II is absolutely insane. I’ve surfed it
nonstop since picking it up from you, and I’m loving it.

This is not just a small wave board; it’s an all around awesome board for

everything from knee high dribblers to head high peelers.

No need to grab the shortboard for the average good days.

The Rascal II is so manueverable, fast, and

responsive, I don’t want to ever put it back

in the board bag. Everyone should get one.

Thanks for the magic board.

I’m amazed at how it blows through small sections of literally no wave

The Lil’ Rascal new round nose fish you shaped me is amazing, by far the best small to tiny wave board I have ever ridden.

The thing flies through knee high mush and holds its speed allowing me to blow up little sections.

It has increased the amount of days I can surf by a lot – making summer in Goleta a lot easier to stomach. I was also stoked to see it in art work ideas section. Needless to say my heart sank a little last week when I broke the nose in waist high shore break, no worries though I get it back from the ding repair this week and I be back out on it. I also plan on ordering another one when this one needs to be retired. Thanks again Todd for taking the time to get the right board figured out with me, this board is definitely a hit.

Hey Todd,

The Lil’ Rascal you shaped me is a blast! I’m amazed at how it blows through small sections of literally no wave.

Perfect for flat Ventura/Rincon days.

Never thought I could surf a board so short. But it’s just perfect and much more sophisticated than I anticipated.

I no longer ride a longboard, because this board is just so much more fun

As you know, Todd shaped a Little Rascal for me about a year ago, so this is a relatively long-term review. I had always ridden longboards prior to getting the Rascal, so Todd made it large (7′3). It was a little bit of a jump from a 9′ board, but not bad.

Since that time, the Rascal has gotten to be my “all around” board.

It handles anything from knee high summer waves

to well overhead winter swell.

I found that I like riding it as a quad, because it holds well even on big surf and is really fast. The quads give the board a lot of drive and allow it to make sections that I cannot make on my shortboard thruster.

All of my longboard riding friends love the Rascal.

Todd built the Rascal as a Proxy and it has held up very well. To this point, it doesn’t even have heel dents on the top and virtually looks new. Since I’m retired, I ride this board almost every day, so that is really saying something about the longevity of these boards.

This board became a transition board to ride thrusters and small fish.

I no longer ride a longboard,

because this board is just so much more fun.

It does everything my thruster (by another well known California shaper) does, only better. It is definitely my “go to” board for all conditions and travel.

Working with you and Todd has been great. Thank you for all of your help.

I’ve been waiting my whole life to ride a surfboard like that

Hello Charissa….Todd….

This is Mark Dower up in Santa Barbara, the day after Christmas. Todd, I was hoping I’d get to talk to you in person. I just wanted to say, I got around to riding the “Deano”,I’ve been riding it the past three days.

I’ve been waiting my whole life to ride a surfboard like that. If you shape me a hundred crappy boards

after this one, I’ll still be forever thankful.

That’s the best board, shortboard, I’ve ever ridden. Thanks….

I’m not sure if that’s because it’s narrow and small and light, or whatever, but I feel like ordering up three more because I’m afraid when I break this one, I’m not gonna have anything to ride. It also means I’m gonna have to sell all my other boards… they look like cows. Anyways, I hope you’re having a good holiday and we’ll talk soon.
Thanks again,

Bye.
